C12-BM Barbless Midge, Large Eye

Gamakatsu’s Executive Series of fly hooks has a new addition. The “Barbless Midge” with a large eye. As you may know midges are a significant part of a fishes diet. This tiny little insect hatches all year, and is a main food source from trout to panfish. For this reason alone, it’s a good idea to have a few Midge patterns in your fly box. Designed with a large eye to easily tie knots onto the midges smaller patterns, and a barbless hook point that is needle sharp for the ease of unhooking, for those catch and release fisheries so prevalent on today’s waters.
